THY WILL be done on Earth, not my will be done on Earth Through You.

I dont think there is a Christian that doesnt know Mathew 6 vs 10. It is part of the very famous "Our Father" prayer. The new King James version as seen in the Olive Bible translation says "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven". Emphasis on "thy will". 

There are three competing wills operating on this earth;

1. The Will of God

2. The Will of Man

3. The will of the devil. 

The Will of God is really basic: 1. To replicate his agenda and operating system in heaven on Earth

2. To have a "wiling" relationship with man. He doesnt force man to do anything. He wants to have a "worthy" relationship with man in which man can then help replicate the Kingdom of heaven here on earth. 

Thats the joy of the relationship we have with God; he doesnt force us, hence there is a great fulfilment and pleasure involved if one willingly decides to serve God wholly. This can be seen in our daily relationship with the opposite sex; a man cherishes a woman more if he knows out of the many men that are chasing her she decides to give him her love SOLELY. 

Biko! At this point I must say, NEVER CHASE A MAN OR WOMAN THAT IS NOT DESIRED BY OTHERS. What pleasure do you derive from knowing NO OTHER person wants your "spouse".

The third will of God is to depopulate hell and populate heaven. 

The will of man is pretty basic but sometimes complicated;

1. Survival

2. Self recreation

3. Self propagation 

4. Self Existence 

Now, man has learnt to rely on God, not just because we love God. But a lot of Christians tend to USE God.. 

I know, we are like "ahn han! How can I try to use God?"

It is done in our subconscious mind. We go to church, participate in so many activities, "serve" God. Why? Because you trust him to satisfy your survival, self recreation, self propagation, self existence, physiological, safety, social and self esteem needs. We then feel like God exists so he can make this things happen. Thus forgetting that we were created for God and not God created for us. 

"Whhhattt? You mean God is not there to fulfil all my needs according to his riches in glory?"

Heb 11 vs 6. "For without faith, it is impossible to please God".

Subconsciously, we translate that verse as "WITHOUT FAITH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO PLEASE US". Without faith it is impossible for God to give us car, wife, husband, girl friend, boyfriend, houses, food, job etc... If we don't believe he can give us this things, he won't give us... 

Which is a wrong mentality! Things we need come as an extra bonus for pleasing God, not as the sole reason for serving God. 

When we please God, the things we need; the cars, houses etc will follow us whether we like it or not, because we are citizens of the kingdom of God. 

God is not an ATM machine. Now a days, we say things like "Oh, God, how can you leave me here without a car?". I am guilty of this myself... Sometimes when I am broke or stranded, I say things like "God, this is not the life you planned for me. This is not our deal oo". 

SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND EVERY OTHER THING WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. 

Lets ask ourselves this question "DO WE PLEASE GOD? OR DOES GOD PLEASE US? "
