My worst break Up 2

Hey guys :)
I am sorry for the lack of updates, but school has just bn a bitch of late. So no time. And I promised to write an article for a friend, which I haven't written up till now :( so I felt evil anytime I wanted to update :(
Anyway, thanks for the feedbacks from the previous post on "my worst break up" I really appreciate the love. However, don't bbm me, facebook me or call me to tell me about how much you loved a post, that is why there is a comment box. Leave your comments there :)
So finally, I have my last three speakers. Speaker 5 however is just giving an opinion.. Enjoy :)

Speaker 3
So this guy and I were dating for about 6 months and I ended things because he wanted somethings I couldn't give him and started acting like a jerk shortly after.
I cut him off, but he kept coming back time and time again and after the third time I listened to his lyrics and got sucked in again! He had changed to some extent, grown up and matured a bit so I was a little convinced that this time around it would work out and I was willing to give it another go.
He suggested we meet up and spend time together so we did and spent the whole weekend having a good time, reminiscing and enjoying each others company. I was reluctant to do anything physical because I wasn't going to sell myself cheap.
The week after our rendezvous, he had exams so he was busy and I stopped calling as much as I used to, to give him space. At this point I was pretty sad because I really wanted to talk to him but I had to be considerate and let him handle his business.
The day his exams ended, I called! He was excited to speak to me, told me he missed me, couldn't wait to see me. Then he said he was really tired and had to take a nap and he'd call me immediately he woke up. I dropped the phone in excitement and anxiously waited for his call.
Well ladies and gentlemen, he never woke up...!
I called he didn't pick, sent texts he never replied, sent bb messages he would read but wouldn't reply, other days he wouldn't even read the message but he will change his status like a million times to nonsense!
At this point I was a little worried, and started thinking maybe something bad had happened to him so I sent one of his friends a message on facebook concerning him and his friend told me he was absolutely fine and he even saw him and spoke to him that same day. I didn't know if I should have told the friend to tell the guy to call me so I didn't because I didn't want to look desperate... because I really am NOT! So I concluded that his friend either saw his spirit or saw him in his dreams because as far as I'm concerned that boy is still sleeping or dead, and I haven't heard from him since then!
And that was the end of solomon grundy!
Lovely blog debz xx

Speaker 5:
As someone who hasn't had a bad break-up, I'll be taking a different stance on this. I am not a relationship expert, neither am I declaring myself one, but I think having a really bad break-up all comes down to you; only you can decide if you want to. You can either be the bigger person, and let it go or just stay sulking. It also depends on your relationship principles. I generally do not take relationships as a do or die affair, plus I make it my duty to stay friends with all my ex's. Yes! I am that ex who would stay calling you to say hello, just to make sure we're cool even when it ends up looking like I'm not over you, but hey! That's me. I just do not see the point in losing a friend or not being friends over a break-up, life's too short for all that. In some cases, its the only way people get a closure... so its really whatever works for you.

And it's a wrap :D
At this point, I'll like to thank my speakers :) Ya'll are the best... Thank my readers :) Ya'll are the bestest best. And I promise to update more often :)

Love and kisses *mushy ones*

My worst break Up 1

Hey guys,

So I promised over a week ago to have guest speakers on the topic "my worst break up" and as you all know, I keep my promises.
Due to the volume of stories I have, I'll cut the post into parts, and because I gave my word to the writers not to disclose their identity (well those that asked to be anonymous) like my other post on "sex--> the first time" I'll add the twitter handles of people that helped with the post (guest speakers and advisers) at the end of the final part. That way, I'll keep ya'll guessing :)
I hope you enjoy their stories as much as I did..

Speaker 1:

To think I even counted it as a relationship, I must have been very gullible. Social networks have become a place to set "P" either for Skype snacks, fame or actual friendship(which is very rare). Anyway I had been following Mr Y?! On Twitter for a while , how we became friends I can't even recall but yeah one random day I received a DM (the usual first move room) from him requesting my BBM Pin. I did the usual shakara at first, then after assessing his DP, TL and Mutual Followers, I decided to give it to him. I consulted a few friends and Oh Lord had I known, I should have been smart! Most reports were negative, warnings etc but my mumu self decided to give it a shot (I thought I'd be an exception) since I like bad guys anyway.
So from DM to BBM to Skype. Only at the first Skype convo had I started to fall smh... I mean he wasn't bad looking and he had poise so what the hell. Sha sha one thing lead to another before we knew it , #pause before I knew it I was in a "relationship" with someone in another country. Ode like me put up his dp now to introduce my new man to my contact list lmaooo!
Three days into the mistake Mr Y?! Called me on skype and broke the news.
(I don't remember the exact convo soo this is Paraphrased)

Me: hey!
Mr Y?! : sup ......

A little convo then...
"well I was joking when I said I liked you, I don't , I just wanted to see if I still had "swag", "moves" (I can't remember the exact word) so I decided to use you to experiment."
GBAGAUN! *light bulb moment*
It was like a joke ... I was actually laughing until I realized it was fo'real.
Nope I didn't cry, I felt verrrrry stupid. I liked him but it hadn't reached stage two and I'm good looking with a good personality (no seriously) so he was just an A-hole. I was warned but I didn't listen so either way I deserved it.
Is it safe to call this a break up? Because technically 3 days in shouldn't be classified as a relationship. I call this my worst break up because it was a "weak" break up.

Speaker 2:

You know how people say "private relationship"? Well, those two words to me for the few years I've lived on earth seemed very similar to "happily married"...they seemed like paradoxes; until recently when I was "delivered" of the fact that there are, and can be happy marriages. But that is not why we are here. The reason why this particular break-up was, and I believe will forever be my worst was because it was done via Facebook...uh huh, you read right, Facebook.

Why did the Facebook break-up cut so deep you ask? Well, you're about to find out.
I met this amazing fresh-faced beauty a few years back through a common friend, and we hit it off instantly, because of time, we had a really short conversation and I asked for her phone number (BB's weren't what they are today). Just before she started reading out her number, I realised my phone wasn't with me *oh sh#t* (gentlemen, NEVER go unprepared to battle). She read the number aloud once&said she wasn't going to again. I tried repeating it in my head, but I'd go 0803*blank*...I couldn't remember it. I got home that day and started fiddling with my phone; before I realised it, I had typed the entire number (cool story eh?, I thought so too).

We got talking and weeks into it, I asked her to date me and the response was in the affirmative. Those days I didn't have a car or have access to one, and she didn't go out a lot, so I took a "tuski", cab, hitched a ride...whatever I could do to get to see her almost every week day for the entire summer holiday. I was in love (*yimu* there and your mouth will remain permanently like that :| ).

After the summer holiday, she started first year in University and I resumed my second. Things were great, and we tried to see as often as we could; but not long after, cracks started to appear in our less-than-perfect system. I noticed and tried to pass them off as a "short phase", but things got silently and progressively worse. We saw less often and complained more, we had two options: sit down, assess our relationship and workout a plan to move forward. OR, sit down assess our relationship and call it a day...or at least, so I thought.

Semester exams passed, valentine's day passed (each bringing their own fair share of strain to an already stretched relationship). We finally agreed over one weekend to sit and properly discuss our fate one fateful friday....boy was I in for a rude shock. That wednesday, I saw her friend, and she asked "what's up with you and *****" and I answered "we're good". Then she chuckled and said "ok, 'cos I saw something on facebook". *inserts nollywood movie soundtrack*. So, on thursday morning my curiosity got the better part of me, I went on facebook and saw it. *pause*. Did I forget to tell you, our relationship was quoted on FB? (Olukoya Dehinsilu is in a relationship with ***** *****) I did? Oh, well now you know. *play*. I saw it, my relationship status had changed and I definitely didn't change it (don't cry for me Argentina). So, I called her and she confirmed it. I was too hurt and bashed to even ask why? Not why she felt the need to end it, but why like that. My heart was bruised, but my ego...oh poor guy, my ego was beaten into comatose. The after effect: several broken-hearted girls and Presidency of the "Single and Wayward Association (which I have now since retired from)".

A big thank you to Debbie, for letting me feature here. If you wanna check out other stuff I've written, go to DOJ's blog.
Cheers.

I hope you enjoyed our first two speakers :) I'll be posting the next part hopefully before the end of the week. I am still accepting stories, so feel free to send in your stories "motidebi01@yahoo.com" and don't forget to leave a comment, a reaction and share the link...

My worst break Up

Hey guys,
how is your weekend going?

Okay, so I am thinking of having guest speakers on the blog once again with a new topic this time, "my first/worst break up". Judging from the last time I had guest speakers on the topic "Sex---> the first time" I think it was pretty chilled, and I got positive comments.

So if you're interested in telling your interesting break up story, how you cried, the chocolates you ate, how fat you grew and things like that for babes, or how you smashed other babes to get over the whore that broke up with you.. I'll be glad to hear them, just leave a comment or send me a message on facebook "Debbie Belle Motilewa" or tweet at me "itsdjdebbz" or better still, send me an email "motidebi01@yahoo.com". And not to worry, I respect privacy, so I shall be writing the stories without direct reference to the speakers.

Oh and don't worry I am pretty cool and easy to talk to, no form of forming, so feel free to tell me your stories

THE EVOLUTION OF OUR "GOOD GIRL GONE BAD" BABE RIHANNA

S.O.S with the cool looking long haired girl: dancing at the beach was the beginning of Rihanna's  climb to the top of the music chart.
Robyn Rihanna Fenty commonly known as Rihanna was born on the 20th February 1988 in Saint Michael Barbados. She is not just a singer, but a song writer: executive producer, dancer, video director, philanthropist, cultural ambassador, author and actress. She is signed under Def Jam, SRP and ROC nation labels.
Her first step in achieving her dream was her move to the United States of America  at age 16.
'05 was the year she produced her debut studio album 'Music of the sun' which I'll refer to as her GOOD GIRL album. During this stage of her life, although she was already signed to Def Jam with Jayz and the rest: she was still seen as a normal teenage girl, that loved playing at the beach, loved wearing her hair long and loved colorful ornaments.

By '07 she released  her third studio album  'GOOD GIRL GONE BAD'  which peaked at number 2 on the billboard 200 and featured 'Umbrella, take a bow, Disturbia and Don't stop the music'
She adopted a more rebellious image, while recording the album: eventually dying her hair black and cutting it short. Rihanna commented;
"I want to keep the people dancing but still be soulful at the same time [...] You feel different every album, and at this stage I feel like i want o do a lot of uptempo[songs]."
Unlike previous work, the album featured a more dance-pop sound instead of the dancehall reggae and ballad styles
From Umbrella, we could see our  cute Rihanna evolving to something different: the long hair gone: the cheerful make up dimmed.

We assumed that was just a  phase in her life: as every teenager  had to go through phases, but by the time we saw 'Take a bow and Disturbia' we knew our good girl had  really gone BAD!! Disturbia with all the dark looking demented pictures, Gothic make up, dark dressing: we were mega sure that our good girl had disappeared beneath the shadows of the dark Rihanna.

In '09 'Rated R' was released : which showed a deeper side to the dark Rihanna: It was released a little while after our pop artist was beaten up badly by her pop star boyfriend Chris Brown. At this point it is sensible to note that most of Rihanna's songs are emotional. Seems like our pop artist is really emotional, but she tries to cover it all up beneath the dark make up...
In November 2010: Rihanna released her 5th album 'LOUD' which features the US number one single 'Only Girl(in the world) and 'What's my name' which shows us a different Rihanna with Red hair: but with a more gentle face.

Now the question is: IS RIHANNA TRYING TO GO BACK TO HER GOOD GIRL STAGE???
